Founded 1951 at Tarpon Center on Roberts Bay, Venice. The Venice Youth Boating Association, a non-profit founded at the club in 1952, runs summer camps, after-school programs, and competitive sailing teams alongside the parent club's calendar.
Venice Yacht Club is a private club. Membership is subject to the club's approval. For current membership costs and how to apply, contact the club's membership office. Members of reciprocal yacht clubs can usually arrange visiting access with advance notice.
